First time user. How do I set up icloud to share for 2 separate apple id's? Wanting to share photos across users in the icloud.

How do I check to see that husband and I are both using the same icloud for everything else?
Normally you don't want to use the same Apple ID for anything. Using separate Apple IDs makes it possible to keep things separate -- for example for each of you to have your own contacts and to sync them to your own iCloud. You can go to Settings > iCloud on each iPhone and iPad to see what Apple ID is being used. On the Mac you go to Apple menu > System Preferences > iCloud to see the Apple ID used.
