I have been trying all day, I have done everything that is listed above and I still cant get the down load to show up.

Apple has delayed the release of OS 2 for the watch.

watchOS 2 is available now:
- Ensure that your Apple Watch has at least a 50 percent charge.
- Connect your iPhone to Wi-Fi.
- Keep your iPhone next to your Apple Watch to make sure they're in range.
- Connect your Apple Watch to power, and keep it on the charger until the update is complete.
To download and install the update: on your iPhone, open the Apple Watch app and tap My Watch > General > Software Update - follow the instructions.
