iPhone 6 stuck at "connect to itunes" screen after attempting the iOS 9 update

I am sure it must be disturbing to have the "Connect to iTunes" screen come up on your iPhone. I know I would be upset, especially if I was looking forward to checking out all the new features on my phone after an update.

Is it because of the iOS 9? I tried almost everything and nothing happened.

Mine is stuck too and has been stuck like this for more than 24 hours. Is there going to be a wah to fix it or is it just broken.... I sat on the phone with apple support last night for a hour and a half and they couldnt help! We tried everything!

This was completely unhelpful as I still can progress no further than the "Connect to iTunes" icon after a hard restart, no matter how many times I try. I'm not looking forward to the new features now, I am looking forward to being able to simply use my phone again. Deeply disappointed as always.

So is there a fix yet? My 6 is stuck and just shows the connect to itunes even after a hard reset. They shouldn't put out these updates when there is known issues. I am so bummed.
