iTunes 12.3 wouldn't quit normally

Hi,

I have a mid-2011 MacMini (10.10.5) as my media server which runs iTunes 24/7, recent update of iTunes 12.2.2 and now 12.3 that iTunes wouldn't quit normally, it will just hang when quit, I will have to force quit every time. Also, if I have devices plug-in to the computer through USB, it will appear in iTunes on launch, if I plug-in the device say a few minutes later, it will not appear on iTunes at all. Just wonder has anyone experience some what similar issue or know any troubleshooting tips, or potential fix?

This issue has come back from time to time, last few times I found that if I change my Apple ID password, iTunes will then successfully quit without hanging and devices got recognized. However, failed to quit start happening today and changed my Apple ID password didn't work this time. I also tried to delete the preference list for iTunes, that also didn't help. Just wonder has anyone encounter this issue at all? Or has any suggestion on how to fix this?

Any help would be greatly appreciated, I'm running out of options here. Thanks in advance!
