My Apple Watch won't display the correct time

After flying to USA Central Time Zone from USA Pacific Time Zone and returning, some, but not all, of my clock faces remained on Central Time. I attempted turning off “Set Automatically” in Date & Time under General and purposefully choosing another Time Zone but that did not fix it. Just the “correct” faces followed. I rebooted my iPhone only and that did not fix it. I rebooted my watch after rebooting my iPhone and that fixed it.

Had the same challenge, flying from one time zone to another and iWatch was not showing the correct time zone change as my iphone. Turned both off and back on and it seems to have resolved. This is the first time this has happened with the iWatch. Thanks for your advise

Try these steps:

On your iPhone, go to: Settings > Privacy > Location Services:

- Check that Location Services is enabled.

- On the same page, tap on Apple Watch Faces > check this is set to While Using the App.

Check that Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are enabled on your iPhone (Settings > Wi-Fi / Bluetooth).

Check that your watch and iPhone are connected: Swipe up on the watch face, then swipe left / right until you find the Settings Glance. This will state either Connected or Disconnected. Disable Airplane Mode if it is enabled. (Swipe down again to return to the watch face).

Restart both devices:

- Restart iPhone: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the red slider appears; Drag the slider to turn your iPhone off; When it has finished turning off, press and hold the Sleep/Wake button again until you see the Apple logo.

- Restart Apple Watch: Press and hold the side button until you see the Power Off slider; Drag the slider to turn off completely; Afterwards, press and hold the side button until you see the Apple logo.

This was the one post that fixed the problem for me. I landed in Tokyo and was surprised that my watch didn't automatically sync to the changed time on my iPhone 6. I tried all the other fixes, then did the complete power off of the watch and back on and that fixed things.

Apple, a good enhancement would be the Watch automatically dealing with multiple timezones on the watch face itself -- world travelers are a natural fit for smart watches!

Just switch timezones from EST to CST. Apple Watch and iPhone 6 were out of sync for hours. I don't remember seeing this problem before iOS10.

Restart of watch fixed it, but that seems silly.

A world clock complication (in some cases, more than one) can be added to several watch faces on Apple Watch:

- Chronograph, Color, Mickey Mouse, Modular, Simple, and Utility.

To add a world clock complication to a supported watch face:

- Firmly press on the display > tap Customise > swipe left to the screen that allows complications to be selected > tap the complication that you would like to use for for a world clock > turn the Digital Crown to choose a city > press the Digital Crown when finished.

To change which cities are available as world clock complications, on your iPhone, open the Clock app (a watch face symbol) and tap on the World Clock tab:

- Tap Edit (top left) to remove locations and/or re-order existing locations > tap Done.

- Tap the plus sign (top right) to add new locations.

- Your revised selections will be included as options when scrolling through available world clock complications on your watch.
