Q: IOS 9 Cellular Data Usage Restrictions not working

there is currently an update for iOS9.0.1

I have the same issue. I did a full factory reset and restored from the iTunes backup after the iOS 9.0 update. No effect. Issue persists in 9.0.1. I have not tried a factory reset after the 9.0.1 update, but I do not expect it to matter.

Can I borrow a GPS since I can't turn on mapquest?  problem needs to be fixed now, APPLE are you guys listening?

TO no Avail! this is the first time ever I am thinking of switching Away from Apple. It would suck but I guess this doenst leave us much of option.

APple le please fix this problem before I a lot of others make that decision.

IPhone 5C here.  Only app that stays on is "Layout" which is an app for Instagram.  I am pretty sure that is the only one that would have been on before the update to IOS 9, was trying to conserve data.  Ironically, saving all sorts of data usage now :/ .

Just installed the new update.  Nothing is better.

Still unable to switch my data back on for many apps I had switched off before updating. Even after today's 9.0.1 update

So frustrating.  

This is the first time e I have such a huge problem with any of apple's updates...so disappointed.  Wish I can downgrade but I fear losing my data.

This is exactly the problem I am having; for instance, I cannot turn on cellular data for the Find My iPhone app, which is definitely a worry for me.

I am having he same issue and have tried every suggestion and so far nothing as worked. Even updated to Ido 9.0.1 to no avail, I hope they come up with a fix soon or back to 8 I go. Very disappointed with apple, I hoped they had fixed all the update issues. I have the iPhone 6 Plus and swore I would never buy an apple product after the iOS 7 broke my ipad2's charger. Had to buy a new charger after that update!
