How to manage multiple Apple IDs with many IOS Devices?

Hi.

Our company has 30+ iPad Air 2s and iPhone 6s. They are all under the same Apple ID, so that creates a problem if the users want to iMessage etc. We have a device management program, but we are having trouble using the same Apple ID for all of the devices. The only way that I can think of getting around this problem is by creating Apple IDs for every user (which would take a very long time).

What I'm thinking is (not sure if it's possible) is to create one Apple ID that can control many. So one Apple ID is setup and we can add Apple IDs under that main Apple ID.

If anyone has any ideas, let me know.

Hey you can easily manage all apple ID on different devices. Just from iTune library from your Mac OS X or Windows computer

You may have 1, 2, or 3 apple ids per device. Software updates could be more of a hassle since apps are own by the apple id. You need to be logged in to the apple id which download the app for the updates.

IOS 9 is supposed to have an option to eliminate the apple id.

Hi charlesfromtoowoomba,

With the new iOS 9 enterprise features, you can use an MDM along with DEP and VPP MD to deploy apps to devices without an Apple ID. I think Profile Manager is the only MDM at this point that is ready for deploying apps this way, but pretty much all MDM companies are working on getting it set up for their MDM's.
