Q: I have a 5th gen iPod touch and every time I try to update an app, I am told that there is a problem with the payment method so put all of my information again and I am told that it is either invalid or declined. This is very annoying.

Basically everything I just typed... I try to update an app (that I have already downloaded, and that is free) and I get a pop up notification saying that there was a problem with a previous purchase and it takes me to the settings where it has me renter all of my information. Once I am done, it tells me that the information is either invalid, or declined. I just want to be able to update my apps and make the notifications go away. Please help.

Does your payment method meet:
iTunes Store: Accepted forms of payment
Can you change the payment method to None?
Why can’t I select None when I edit my payment information?
