Q: ios9 wifi not working

Hello,

 

Since updating to iOS 9 I cannot connect to my work wifi. It keeps telling me the password is incorrect even though it is identical to my PC which is connected. I have an iPhone 5s 16gb. wifi at home works fine.

    That worked for me too! I have been using VyprVPN so I could access American Netflix. I just deleted the app and finally my device is working. Thank you soooo much dude! This was causing me grief as my ipad is also my business tool so it's been incredibly inconvenient.

    I feel you buddy! So annoying!!! My 3G and Wifi is not working. i have the iphone 6 i have tried everything mentioned online by different websites and users. I am finally downgrading my phone to ios 8. Not cool Apple!

    This really helps me. After removing all VPN profiles from my mobile and connecting to WIFI, my mobile wifi is working now. Thanks

    I have this same issue.  My two kids have upgraded to iOS 9 on their iphone 5s and wifi is not connecting, it claims the password is wrong even though it is the correct password.  My iPhone 6 plus running version ios 8.4 and the same wifi is working on my phone.  So it is definitely not a wifi problem.  Also all other devices in our house, such as this computer, roku, etc have been working fine.

     

    This is an apple problem, for us it is specifically related to the ios 9 upgrade.

     

    Apple, you need to get this fixed.

    We repeatedly turned off and on the router, reset network settings, restarted phone, turned off wifi assist.

    We have been working on this for over an hour.  Tried everything we found in any post about this issue

    and nothing helped.

    Have to same problem,turning on airplane mode,then turning it back off works for me.

    Hello,

    I have the same problems. I updated my router (TP Link) firmware to the last version, changed DNS on my modem and router to Google DNS, forgot wifi connection on iphone, reset all network connections on my iPhone and restored to factory default my router settings and configure it again, and nothing solve my problem.

     

    I'm using wifi on my Macbook normally, but when i connect my iPhone on my wifi, they don't work normally, apps like Facebook, Instagram, Mail don't work and i can't access any sites on my Macbook too, the wifi connection get slow in all devices.

    I had problem Witherspoon connecting to wi-fi at work arter upgrade, i hot the password incorrect message. todag i tried disabling wi-fi assist and it worked. not a solution but à temp. fix

    Hi Blackforce

     

    I'm having the same issue.. All iOS devices from 5c's through to Air2s are no longer connecting to our Meru 1500, unless we connect to a fellow hotspot first, then the Access Points become visible and allow a connection.. Have you heard anything more?

    I was having the same problem with a Cisco wireless router. I did the following:

     

    1. Reset Network Settings

    2. On the router, I turned SSID broadcasting back on and connected to the networks.

    3. I disabled SSID broadcasting and the connection was dropped. Then I manually connected and it's been working fine ver since.

    Just a little update on my issue...

     

    When I leave the room and come back, it no longer connects. I have to resort to broadcasting to re-connect.

    The Problem is with AP and Vport, in  ESS profile  of SSID change the Broadcast of Vport  to Till-Association.

    Yes, I also am finding that NEITHER wi-fi nor 3g data will work on ANY Internet apps on my iPhone 4S.  All previous ios updates have worked flawlessly, and this ios 9.0 worked a bit after I installed it on Saturday.  However, NOTHING has worked properly since 2 pm on Sunday (yesterday).  I will keep reading posts to see if there is any fix for this...
