Sep 29, 2015 11:05 AM in response to raabnzby Patrice B,I have the same issue with my iPad Mini 3. The iPhone 6 is working fine with the same iTune.
I can see the app list in the left column though. Only the waiting icon on the right box (can wait hours, no change).
- iTune 12.03
- iOS 9.0.1 (Both devices)
PLEASE APPLE give us a FIX.

Sep 29, 2015 1:12 PM in response to sparta81by woodmeister50,This "new and improved" method of not syncing apps and app updates from
the iPhone to the computer is defeating the whole purpose of doing backups
and syncing. What if you need to restore and OMG there is no internet (like that
never, ever in history has happened).
Also, FWIW, the Automatic Downloads in iTunes is broke as well. You get a little cloud
symbol indicating something is "ready for Manually Downloading". The whole point
of "automatic download" on all devices (if selected) is to automatically download, right???

Sep 29, 2015 2:27 PM in response to Patrice Bby raabnz,★Helpful@Patrice B, I found a solution to this. It's because of the default iOS wallpaper that's causing the inability to see your home screens in iTunes.
Change your wallpaper to a photo you've taken and you'll see your home screens in iTunes again.

Sep 29, 2015 11:42 PM in response to sparta81by eunicekhong,I upgraded 4 of my devices to iOS9.0.1 and the apps then starting to sync for one of them, the iPhone 6. The rest are earlier devices and everythign sync except apps. No idea why.

Sep 30, 2015 12:54 AM in response to Wooroondenby raabnz,I know, it's dumb right?
Only reason I found out is I had the syslog open at the time and noticed this error: getHomeScreenWallpaperPNGData request failed
Which led me to trying a different wall paper..

Sep 30, 2015 11:38 AM in response to Patrice Bby Blackwoodway,This has really got me stuffed.
I have an iPhone6 and a new 6s. There is an app on my 6 (a pilots logbook) that is no longer available in the App store and due to the 'wonderful' new system I cannot transfer it to my new phone!
If I can't transfer this app to the new phone then I will have to buy a new (less user friendly) app which will mean leaving apple for Android.
Anyone know a workaround?

Oct 1, 2015 2:16 AM in response to sparta81by SA-TX,I'm experiencing the same issue. What a pain.
Clearly Apple would be aware of this, which makes it all the more frustrating considering they've now tinkered with the iOS again, yet continue to ignore the noise from loyal users!
iPhone 6 / iOS 9.0.2 / iTunes 12.3.0.44
