I had very old backup available on my iCloud which I used for restoration and it worked for me.
However, I lost all my data to avoid which I restored with latest iTunes backup which again threw same issue.
I will be taking just required backup of my data but not settings and will restore it again through my iCloud backup.

I also just updated to the latest patch 9.0.1. in hopes it would fix the issue but it hasn't. I've tried almost all of the non invasive fixes but do not want to wipe my phone and will wait for the fix. I'm surprised Apple have not responded to this forum as recognition of the issue. Thanks to the guys who have contacted apple. Please keep us updated.

That's what I used to hear when my desktop would crash. Here's a suggestion. Let your army of lawyers experiance the same problems, and excuses that your loyal customers are dealing with and see what happens.
