    dude I had same issue. Jst go to settings.. Click general.. Go to reset.. Press reset all settings..

    u won't loose any data jst ur wall paper and ur ringtone will change.. And ur problem also will be solved..

    for safety take a backup dude...

    Thanks a ton @durairocky! After %&*!@#$%^&*( the bank's answering machine for 10 min for not reacting to my inputs, and remembering I had had the same problem with another answering machine I started suspecting my phone dial pad.

    It was indeed not reacting to my inputs, and this solved it!
