IOS9 wallet for iPad?

Read the link that Kilgore-Trout posted. There is no Wallet App for the iPad. It works differently on the iPad.

With iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus or later, iPad Air 2 or later, and iPad mini 3 or later, you can add credit and debit cards to Wallet to pay for purchases using Apple Pay. Learn more about setting up Apple Pay.

Do you mean that there is no Wallet app for iPad but we can still use Apple Pay on iPad without Wallet app? Just need to add a credit card on my iPhone Wallet app?

In this page from Apple Set up and use Apple Pay on your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support, they write

Set up Apple Pay on your iPhone or iPadAdd a card to your iPhone or iPad:On your iPhone, open Wallet. On your iPad, go to Settings > Wallet & Apple Pay.

Tap Add Credit or Debit Card.

I dont have Wallet & Apple Pay on in iPad settings...

From Canada which currently doesn't support Apple Pay, Wallet app installs to iPhone 5s but iPad Air 2 does not have Wallet & Apple Pay option available in settings. Same issue is also present with News app, installs and works on iPhone 5s, but app did not install to iPad Air 2. Is this a country related issue?

This really bugs me - I have an iPad Air 2 so I assumed that I would have the Wallet app. I don't. Under Settings, though, I do have a "Wallet & Apple Pay" setting but when I try to use the Wallet portion, it doesn't work as it should – no way to enter even Apple Rewards.

This is getting a little frustrating. It seems as if you need an iPhone, an iPad and an Apple Watch to use the full functionality of iOS 9.x.

I have no need for a watch or phone. I would like to store my Pottery Barn, Brook Brothers, etc., cards in one place. Maybe it works if you've a WiFi and Cellular iPad? I'm still going to get a Pro and get the cellular "option" this time.

So has any with an iPad Air 2 had any luck with the wallet part working?

On an iPad, there is no "Wallet App" per se, and it cannot be used to pay at a retail card terminal, just online You should be able to find it in Settings Wallet & Apple Pay and management payment instruments from there. (Assuming a supported device and in a country where it is supported).

Because you can add a card to it. Did you not read my post? Apple pay is available on an iPad, but NOT for use in a brick and mortar store. Just online. There is no app visible for it on the home screen as it the case with an iPhone. You have to access it via settings.

I didn't quite get the fact that it works on-line. I am not guessing how it will work, and I'm not likely to buy stuff on-line using my iPad. It seems likely that it will be added to Mac-OS (at least with Safari, which I don't use).

ApplePay for websites does not release until this fall. Right now, the ApplePay on your iPad is for use in apps, similar to an in-app purchase, but not using your iTunes account. This fall, your iPhone, iPad, and Mac (if it supports Bluetooth 4.0 and you have an iPhone 5s or higher or Apple Watch) will allow you to do ApplePay on websites through the Safari browser.

Wallet is available on iPad Air 2 and later models. If you have an earlier model, it won't be there.

The Wallet app is not available on the iPad.

Yes, that is an older model than the Air 2
