Immediately after installing IOS9 update, I noticed trouble with visual voicemail. Had to turn phone on and off to be able to view and listen to visual voicemail. Then I had to press delete 8-15 times before it would delete the voicemail. Major pain and extremely frustrating. Thought I was going to have to purchase a new $850 I phone. So today called ATT, and spent entire day with them erasing phone and restoring via Icloud, and then via ITunes. The problem would resolve if I restored as a new phone, but then I lost all my apps, contacts, notes, etc. After 6-8 hrs of ATT tech support, I was told I had 3 options: 1) I could call Apple and explain ATT had exhausted all their efforts, and see if they could resolve issue 2) I could get a brand new phone and manually enter all my new information and apps, notes, etc.--could not transfer any of my information because my back-up was corrupt or 3) use same phone if I restored to a new phone and also lose all my prior information. I figured Apple would not help me without paying for support even though issue didn't occur until I installed new IOS 9. Tried their online support, but kept getting message that it was not available at that time, to try back later. Finally, I decided to erase my phone and restore from a previous back up, and that solved my issue with visual voicemail, and only lost recent information. There is a definite issue with install of IOS9 on ATT and I hope Apple or ATT fixes it soon. I've wasted so much time and endured extreme frustration over last few weeks since I installed IOS9 trying to listen and delete voicemails and wasted 2 days pricing phones and getting tech support. I saw where others only had to reset their visual voicemail password, but I tried that numerous times today also, and it didn't resolve issue until I restored to a back up prior to IOS9 install.
