Q: Apple Pay UK Declined Transactions

I've used Apple Pay only a handful of times, and 2 out of 4 transactions using Apple Pay have resulted in a declined transaction. I have to resort to using the physical card to complete the payment.

I beed to some officially supported partner stores (1 of which didn't work) and some other contactless stores (some worked and some didn't).

Does anyone know what could be causing the issue?

If you try to use Apple Pay and experience a failed transaction, report it to Apple here:

https://www.apple.com/feedback/apple-pay.html

The feedback form enables you to report issues with specific merchants, transactions and payment cards, so is very helpful in enabling Apple to investigate.

Thanks for your reply. I have reported the failed transactions. It's interesting to here other peoples experiences.

I've only had one declined transaction so far, and that was in B&M Bargains (Southampton). Tried twice and the till spat out a non authorised receipt. Got my card out of my wallet (the one registered to apple pay) and it worked fine.

Submitted the report to Apple.
