I was looking how much space I had because I just moved my movies to an externalHD drive but for some reason the "other" tab was taking most of the space. I did a reindexing because I thought it was just an error but it was still like that. Please help me. From DaisyDisk, it says that the "var/folder/_5/" was taking most of the space.

You may use Omni Disk Sweeper app to determine the largest files on your mac:http://www.macupdate.com/app/mac/7402/omnidisksweeper
In the nutshell, Other is everything else - not audio, not video, apps, etc.
Sometimes the Spotlight index gets corrupted and then Other seems to take over the computer.Here’s an article which explains who to force the computer to re-index. I suspect this is what’s wrong with your computer.
I don't have any idea why the "other" tab is taking too much space.
