Q: After update to iOS9, no 'add credit card' option instaled on my Wallet

Can someone help me, thanks

This has happened to quite a lot of users, I have been searching all day but found no solution, I tried everything that was suggested but no joy, It must be a bug, Not sure if apple will be doing an update for this its so annoying when something like this happens,

I have two phones , a 5s, and a 5c they both have the sam problem, I hope someone comes up with an answer soon.

    Is your phone set to one of the regions (US or UK) where Apple Pay is available?

    I set the phone on UK, its was on diferent country. Now it works fine. Thanks JaxFLBear

    HI As I am in the uk the update defaulted to this, I have tried changing the region to usa, then back to uk, Still not working, My devices were purchased direct from Apple, so I have no suspicions there,

    Im happy that you got your sorted, I thin i will try to restore it back to Version 8, Try anything at the moment.

    The iPhone 5s & 5c don't have the necessary hardware to directly support Apple Pay.  You can howevere use Apple Pay on a Apple Watch that's paried with either an iPhone 5s or 5c.

    NO option to add credit card on my iPhone 6S which is on ios 9.0.1. Dont know what to do :/

    my country is also selected as US. Help !!

    Just got my iPhone 6S.  Was looking forward to using Apple Pay.  But same thing is happening to me:  when I try to "Add Credit or Debit Card"  I get the message, "Could not add card.  Try again later or contact your card issuer for more information."   It doesn't even give me a chance to enter any card information so it couldn't be that the card issuer is the problem.

     

    I've rebooted (force and regular).   Tried adding a card from the Wallet and from Apple Pay in "Settings".  My OS is up-to-date.  What now?

    I had the same issue with my iPhone 6s, with iOS 9.1.

    I am in Canada, and since yesterday,  American Express is the fist card that supports Apple Pay.

    The Wallet app was only offering me to scan a code. No option to add the credit card.

     

    So I closed Wallet, and rebooted the iPhone (hold the power and home button until it shuts down). After that, Wallet offered me to add this American Express.

     

    Note that I had just switch my iTunes account to use AMEX instead of Visa. Not sure if this was necessary, but if it is required, maybe a reboot was necessary for Wallet to see the new card. Just guessing here...
