Q: How do I change my new email address on iCloud?

How do I change my new email address on iCloud? I changed it in my Apple account and thought it would automatically change in iCloud. It didn't change, I still have the old email address in there and I can't seem to be able to change it.

iMac (21.5-inch Mid 2010), iOS 9, OSX 10.9.5

You have to sign out, then sign back in with the new ID. Your synced data will disappear when you sign out but will re-appear when you sign back in (give it time).
