Dec 10, 2015 12:31 PM in response to Mika73xby j-m-d,well, I'm sure there are some Apple folk that come here, they simply publish this as "we don't monitor this site" so they are not on the hook for being responsive.
more importantly, the industry press DOES review these pages, to find out what users are complaining about, and Apple is ignoring.

Dec 10, 2015 2:37 PM in response to j-m-dby Kitagrl28,I have been fighting this on my iPad 4 as well. My iPhone 6 backs up automatically as it is supposed to, but my iPad 4 has to be manually backed up. I have tried all the restarting stuff and turning things off and on, and deleting backups And resetting network settings. It's very frustrating, because now it's like the old fashioned laptop thing, remembering to periodically back up your work! Grr.

Dec 10, 2015 2:42 PM in response to Kitagrl28by pinkapplemac,Mine will - but it's not always consistent and it's not always BAM at the 24 hour mark like my old 4s was. BUT check to be sure that it didn't kick you off WIFI. I have found myself waking to a phone that is on LTE when it's plugged in and nestled in a place that is hot for WIFI. Once I unlocked the phone, it connected and immediately after locking it and leaving it for a bit, it back up. So, for me the trouble is it's hard to know if it didn't do it or if it kicked me off WIFI - which it does randomly. No one else that I have found has that trouble - but I would have sworn it was the auto back up. But now, could be both. Manually backing up works as well as iTunes. So, I believe I have it better than some folks out there. The phone is 6s 9.1.
Last night it was locked, plugged in and allegedly connected to WIFI and well past the 24 to back up mark. I woke the phone up, used it, locked it and it backed up within a few minutes afterwards. Random. So, did it drop the WIFI and then reconnect then? Keep an eye on that. Maybe it's your issue as well? I would have never thought!

Dec 10, 2015 8:41 PM in response to leJuan5150by Macyline,I have a problem with my icloud account. My current icloud storage is 50 GB, the available storage is 34,8 GB, and the used storage amount to 15,2 GB.

problem with my icloud account. My current icloud storage is 50 GB, the available storage is 34,8 GB, and the used storage amount to 15,2 GB.
The problem is I can't be able to see my backup data, or move it to my current device and remove the excess data. Actually I have tried to open the manage storage menu in my icloud account on my iphone 6s, but I just only found mail (10.7 MB) and no more files appears there. No "back up now" option, or "delete back up" option . Can somebody help me to get out from this problem?

Dec 10, 2015 9:48 PM in response to Macylineby gail from maine,You cannot see backup information with the exception of the date that the backup was made.
Not sure what you mean by "move it to your current device"? What is it that you are wanting to do?
As for as seeing what is scheduled to be backed up, you need to go to Settings>iCloud>Storage>Manage Storage, then click on one of the devices showing. Once you tap on the device, it will go to the detail screen showing all apps and data that are currently scheduled to be backed up.

Dec 11, 2015 9:54 AM in response to leJuan5150by SteffeB,Dear Apple,
you have always delivered on one to me critical point: your s**t just works. Always. I can count on that the next product is even a little better than the last and upgrade in a heartbeat. And it keeps working with little to zero maintenance and a great user experience. This is the main reason why I keep investing in a closed ecosystem like yours.
This thing with iCloud backup not working for months makes me think. Is one of the key Apple advantages crumbling?
I expect nothing less than your recognition of the problem and a plan to fix it along with an apology for any inconvenience caused or data lost.
Thanks.

Dec 11, 2015 12:53 PM in response to leJuan5150by KKMAC_1,First try the Apple Guy's recomendations that you can find in forums, like deleting old backups, restoring network settings, restoring the device by pressing home/wakeup buttons at the same time etc. (pls check the forums) if nothing changes as in my case (sometimes works for somebody) then try to change DNS numbers to Google's : 8.8.8.8 o r 8.8.4.4 which worked for me.

Dec 11, 2015 9:08 PM in response to mazeman23by pug1334,It is now December 12 and I recently realized ( a few weeks ago) that my iPhone 6 had not done an automatic back-up since August. My iPad Air is not having a problem backing up. Both iPhone and iPad are iOS 9.2. Ridiculous and have spent hours and hours with Applecare totally wasting my time. After 4 senior level advisors and 5 nights wasted, no luck with the iPhone. I can back up to my iMac so at least I have that. But I want a new iPhone. Ridiculous.

Dec 12, 2015 7:43 AM in response to gail from maineby powerbook1701,After months on an iPhone 4s where backup would not complete, it works right after updating to 9.2. I did make sure to swipe up on all apps to close them out before updating as well.

Dec 12, 2015 11:51 AM in response to powerbook1701by powerbook1701,OK, part reversal. Update still fails, however, when I go to manage storage for icloud, I now see that are sizes listed. Before this update, it just said "no data." This is on iPhone 4S

Dec 12, 2015 7:01 PM in response to leJuan5150by contempor,my device: iPhone 5S with 64gb
iCloud drive with 50gb space
iOS 9.2
470 apps
I found for myself a SOLUTION. after i click on "backup now", it tries to calculate sth. After about 10-15min it says 57 min. if it stops, ie at 42mins left, than just click on "Backup Now" again. Just keep on clicking oN backup now if it says: last backup not completed.
lite version: if you have a lot of data to upload, just unclick some apps i.e. Photos.
I hope 9.2.1 will fix it and releases before the december/winter holidays.
ps: with mobileMe apple had big problems too. It seems to be one of the big tasks to sync data.
message to apple: you messed it up. Move back to the roots again.

Dec 13, 2015 11:56 PM in response to satpalsharmaby keyzer,Hi 'satpalsharma',
Did you happen to fix this issue? Currently, iOS 9.2 has been released, but I still have this problem for a long time and totally can't figure it out.
I would appreciate if you would let me know how to fix if you solved it.
Thanks.

Dec 14, 2015 9:29 AM in response to leJuan5150by Adavies1010,I've tried all routines to try and back my iPhone up. I even phoned Apple call centres and they told me that there was a problem with the iCloud servers. apparently they are movng all the data because theyre is going to be a new type of storage - well that's what they told me. I hoped this help as I am too sturgling to back up.
