May 21, 2016 9:31 AM in response to 2manyusernameby Guitarist173,My problem is where a supposed non-existing backup is taking up room. If you go to icloud backups, it says "never," but in manage storage there a spot for it. The backup says 2.8GB, and then iCloud says there isnt enough room. The other things I can see take up around 0.1 MB. I deleted the last backup and everything, and tried to backup twice.

Jun 9, 2016 4:58 PM in response to Guitarist173by GUYPRESS,I'm in exactly the same position I have 13 Gb of non existent back up taking up room - I've now downgraded my storage plan to the free 5Gb to try and delete and am backing up to my Mac now. As a last resort I will reset and erase all content and settings on my iPhone SE 64Gb and try a fresh install, but if as I suspect this a major glitch at server level (not device), nothing I do will stop this issue as it's got to be a back end server issue!!
Come on Apple get it together or face us leaving iCloud for back ups +!!!

Jun 9, 2016 9:24 PM in response to GUYPRESSby gail from maine,Apple is not here - this is a user to user technical support forum. Some users have had issues with iCloud that they have not been able to resolve themselves. Have you contacted iCloud Support for help with this? If not, I would suggest you do so:

Best of luck,

Jun 10, 2016 1:02 AM in response to gail from maineby GUYPRESS,Cheers for response Gail - I'm ex fruit and and a techie. They used to look in..... Luckily this morning after my downgrade of storage and partial reset the server has backed up a 1.5Gb copy of my iPhone but the server still believes that I've used a further 15 Gb for....? Nothing! - oh well come the end of the month when it resets to a 5Gb plan I'm sure it will sort all. Thanks again for the link and glad I didn't have to use..... yet!

Jun 10, 2016 2:54 PM in response to GUYPRESSby gail from maine,You are most welcome GUYPRESS. Not sure if you have already done this, but have you checked your iCloud account on your Mac to see if you can see any backups there? If not, go to Systems Preferences>iCloud>Manage>Backups and see if you see anything there. If you see any backups there (other than the one you just did), select them and then click on Delete to remove them. I'm guessing you have probably already tried this, but thought I'd throw it out there just in case....
Cheers,
GB

Jul 12, 2016 7:10 AM in response to leJuan5150by Crshouse,Hi, it is all about iCloud backup space. If you do not have enough backup space it will say iCloud Backup Failed. If you have enough space, it will just do it.
You will either have to buy more space or disable something that is using a lot of space to make it work.

Jul 21, 2016 8:31 AM in response to robbybobby55by gail from maine,OK, so your post has zero to do with this thread. You should start a new one with your issue, however, I can tell you that you are going to have to update your OS X on your Mac in order to get the most current version of iTunes which is what is required here.
It says iTunes is up to date because your Mac under the current OS X is running the highest version of iTunes that it can. You need to update to El Capitan.
Start a new post if you have further questions.
Best of luck,
GB
