Forget the message in Repair Permissions. Apple discusses this in Mac OS X: Disk Utility's Repair Disk Permissions messages that you can safely ignore - Apple Support

What occurs when you attempt to rename a file? Please be specific, remember we are not there to look over your shoulder.
