Q: why won't my ipad show more than 100 photos

My ipad previously allowed up to 1000 photos on the photo stream. And now it only shows 100. Any idea how I can get it to show more photos?

iPad, iOS 7.1.2

MyPhotoStream shows the last 30 day's photos form all sources up to a max of 1000 plus al of the photos uploaded by that device

Did ou reset the Photo Stream by signing out of iCloud and back in?

If you sign enable My Photo Stream new, it can only show the photos that are currently in iCloud, and iCloud may purge photos from My Photo Stream, and keep only the photos added during the last month, up to 1000 photos. So there may be less than 1000 photos currently in My Photo Stream in iCloud.
