Download the free LibreOffice v5. It has reasonably good support for opening Clarisworks/AppleWorks v5/v6 documents. Complex documents that utilize multiple AppleWorks applications may present a problem. Databases can be opened, but will lose formulas and cell formatting. Once these documents are opened in LibreOffice, it can readily save them as RTF. Just don't count on sending an RTF document to anyone using Pages v5 — it doesn't support them.
