My iCloud and Exchange calendars and contacts stopped syncing after upgrading to iOS 9 on an iPhone 6. Mail is fine and iCloud notes are syncing correctly. It seems to be specifically calendar and contacts. I tried deleting the Exchange account and re-adding it with no luck. From desktop to web is working for both iCloud and Exchange, so definitely, the phone has the issues.
Anyone have a solve or things to check?

Just checked my iPad and has the same issue. That is 2 for 2 devices.
I am having the exactly the same issues as well. My Calendar wouldn't sync with icloud. So when I add a new calendar via my computer, i couldnt get it on my phone. Anyone heard anything from apple about this?
Same here; lost all contacts on the phone in the process 😢
No syncing with the phone, there is syncing between iCloud and other machines - iOS 9 seems to be causing this.
I went through apple customer support on the phone last night... the way to fix it... turn icloud off... then reset the network setting let the phone restart... and then once restart turn icloud back on, that fixes it for me. Hope it work for you as well.

Umm, I'm having some trouble following your actions:
Where/how do I turn iCloud off?
Where/how do I reset the network setting?
Go to Setting | iCloud | (scoll the the bottom, Sign Out)
Then in Setting | General | Reset | Reset Network Settings
Phone should restart...
Once restart...
Go to Setting | iCloud | Log back into your iCloud account again... then things should start syncing again (at least for me it did anyway).

Seems to have solved the issue(s), it's still working on the Calendar but the Contacts are all back 🙂
This did not work for me. In fact, now mail in my Exchange account is now not working either after this.
not iOS 9 - my phone on iOS 9 has the problem - my iPad on iOS 9 - does not
did this on my phone where i had the problem - and not fixed - do not have the problem on my iPad - synching perfectly
however - by following the instructions - i now get to add back my cards into apple pay wallet :-)

wait - this just in ... when i did that - it appeared to work - and all was well. then i added a couple of test items into cal and contacts ---- and they did not sync ..... hence my posts - and now an hour later - just as i posted to here .... calendar and contacts just synched - we are working !!
My problem is that NOTES no longer sync from my iPhone 5 with IOS 9. Tried the "reset networks" without success. Cheesed off with Apple.
that is why god gave us evernote :-) however - i THINK this is more to do with the massive upgrade that notes got in iOS 9 - here is some help from iMORE that might help.

Didn't work for me... I have Google for our corporate system.
Here is what worked for me:
Logged into webmail, go to Options > See All Options
Phones
I then deleted the all the iPads and iPhones listed
After deleting the iPads/iPhones from the list my calendar and emails started synching.
