Oct 11, 2015 9:16 AM in response to tuvoxby dustinspaulding,Did your update survive the first reboot of the phone? This morning, I thought I had resolved this issue by putting my phone into recovery mode, doing a clean install of 9.0.2 using the IPSW file downloaded from Apple (using the Shift-Click-"Restore") method, and then re-loading my backup.
Everything was working, with NO data loss, until I rebooted the phone. On reboot, it stuck at the Apple logo as usual.
Going to try the iBackupBot method next. Fingers crossed. -
Oct 11, 2015 4:12 PM in response to dustinspauldingby dustinspaulding,My iPhone was replaced today at the Apple Store under warranty. All is well now. I was able to restore from my backup with no issues once I got home.

Oct 12, 2015 12:48 AM in response to dsungby sam.rude.dude,Hi,
I have the same above problem.
I have updated my iPhone 5S to iOS 9.0.2 but I am not able to restore it with my last backup taken from iOS 8.1.4
Now since Apple has stopped signing iOS 8.1.4 I can't revert back to iOS 8.1.4
So now I am stuck with iOS 9.0.2 without my earlier data, Can you please specify which files did you specifically deleted? OR can you please help me find out the solution?
I can be available via Team Viewer or any other app if need be.
I need this urgent.
Thanks,
Sanket S.

Oct 15, 2015 8:21 AM in response to mianesvaby dustinspaulding,After my experience, I would encourage anyone with this issue (and with a device in-warranty) to go brave the crowd at the Apple Store and get your iPhone replaced. I know it's not the ideal option but it was the only thing that worked for me.

Something does not add up though.... A replacement would fix this if it is a hw issue.... Is that what you are alluding to? If it is software, then our existing phones should be able to be 'reset' to the same state as a brand new phone and then it would work. I have tried a number of things to get it to that state without luck.
Will go to store though and see what they can do.... biggest issue is they don't have usually a 6s available....

Oct 21, 2015 11:50 AM in response to AmE I5by maaji,BTW dear all listed tools are not able to get back sms etc.
I was able to manage and get back my Whatsapp chatt and media by using iBackupbot, I've created a new backup on iO9 and modify it with iBackbot and restored back to my device and got my all whatsapp chats and media etc.
Now I just want to get back my SMS. -
Oct 21, 2015 2:11 PM in response to johnotalvaro9877by vladjiman,Anyone tried 9.1 to see if this works?

Oct 21, 2015 5:27 PM in response to vladjimanby justin9438,Not fixed in iOS 9.1. Apple has already replaced my phone once and the Genius Techs were completely stumped when they tried to diagnose it. I was able to get the new phone to 8.4.1 (the tech said i HAD to update the phone to iOS 9, even when I told him it would just break it) but now Apple has stopped signing 8.4.1 and I'm stuck with a stuck phone.
APPLE PLEASE FIX THIS.
