I am having trouble charging my Ipod 5th Generation. It's 1 or 2 years old and in fairly good condition. 2 days ago I tried to charge it but it wouldn't work. I have now tried 4 different chargers in my attempt to get it to work but it hasn't. I think that there is something wrong with the charging port itself. Is thee anyway I can clean/fix the port without having to buy a new device?

- Try another cable. The cable for 5G or later iPod (lightning connector) seems to be more prone to failure than the older cable.
- If a 5G ot later iPod

- Try another charging source
- Inspect the dock connector on the iPod for bent or missing contacts, foreign material, corroded contacts, broken, missing or cracked plastic.
- Make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a bad port or other hardware problem

would I be able to take it to the Source store because there is no apple store where I live?
