Q: iMac dual screen

Hi, I have a new iMac 21.5 late2013 and a old iMac 21.5 late 2009.

can i used the old iMac be the 2nd screen? and how?

As stated no, at least not using Target Display Mode because your 2009 21.5" iMac does not support Target Display Mode.
