Q: mpeg2 program stream with 8mbit CBR data rate not possible?

I have to deliver a 8mbit CBR mpeg2 program stream file to a TV station for SD playout from the stations server.

In compressor I can´t lower the data rate under 10mbit though.

Is there a possibility to change it somehow - am I missing something?

I would like to retire my Adobe CC AME where I can make these settings without a problem...

Can somebody help?

Mac Pro, OS X Yosemite (10.10.5)

Did you change the Frame Size to SD?

I would also have to change the audio settings to 192 - there seems to be no way to change that as well?

I had it on automatic... When I set it to SD it works!
If there is a way to change the Audio settings to 192kbit/s somehow?
If I could do this as well - I´m all set :-)

192 data rate? The only available audio output for program stream is 2 channels @182 (384 mbps), 48 kHz sample rate

thats too bad that it cant be changed within Compressor.
The TV station can only play files with 192 rate :-(
looks like I will have to stick to the Adobe workflow :-((

I'd check with the station.Tell them what you have: 2 channels @ 192 = 384.

Thank you Russ,
I have sent them a Compressor encoded test file and it was rejected because of the 384 audio data rate :-(
The one encoded with Adobe Media Encoder was accepted - I could set the stereo data rate to 192 there...
