I have iMac mid 2011 and HP Z Book 15. I want to use my iMac as a external display (e.g. target display mode).
According to this table: Use your iMac as a display with Target Display Mode - Apple Support I need thunderbolt <-> thunderbolt cable.
I borrowed it and have connected it to iMac mid 2011 and HP Z Book 15, after pressing Command + F2 - nothing happened.
When I've tried similar test case with MacBook Pro mid 2013 - everything worked fine.
So question: is it possible to use iMac mid 2011 as an external display with Windows computer which has thunderbolt port? and what additional steps should I do to achieve this?
