Q: AppleID

I updated my phone and AppleID signed into my iMessage but whenever I try to text somebody they receive the message through my email. How can I sign out my iMessage from AppleID?

From your post I gather that messages being sent from your iPhone are being sent from your email rather than your phone number. To ensure your phone number is properly linked to your Apple ID, please follow the directions in the link below.
