Q: ios 9 upgrade

iPhone 5s // upgrading from ios 7.1.2. to 9 but I'm stuck at "slide to upgrade".

I Googled MANY solutions but I'm still lost.

- turn on and off iPhone (same thing back to "slide to upgrade" with such a bright screen light)

- Restore iPhone but needed to turn off my Find My iPhone

- Turn it off and remove from account in iCloud.com but unable to restore at iTunes. It gave me the same message.

- So I'm trying to turn on and off my iPhone again and try restoring

 

My Problems:

1) IF I'm unable to restore it, WHAT DO I DO?

2) If I can restore, what does my iPhone go back to? ios 7.1.2? or ios 8?

3) If it goes back to ios 7.1.2, what do I do? Upgrade to ios 8 then to ios 9?

4) If it goes back to ios 8, do I upgrade to ios 9?

(I probably have more questions later on if nothing works. It took me one year plus to actually be comfortable and accepting of the new ios 9 update.)

 

 

 

P.S.: When I upgrade it, altho it shows my latest update is ios 8 something on my iTunes, but it told me my iPhone will be updated to ios 9 so I clicked "OK".

And also, it required me to update my iTunes which I did, it got me nowhere...

    Previous Scenario:

    - Update done

    - insert passcode twice

    - touched continue and touched 'enable location service'

    - stuck at "slide to upgrade"

     

    *after many many methods to solve this stupid problem*

     

    - I turned it off and on again

    - Left the phone after first passcode inserted because I got tired of it

    - then try my luck again touched continue and it asked me to choose wifi connection then

    - stuck at "slide to upgrade"

     

     

    My Theory: Have a really big patience // do the above steps and // vóila ios 9 phone... (to be continue. i basically answer my own questions here.)

    I got the solution. Turn off your iPhone while connecting to iTunes then when your iPhone shows the Apple logo, quickly click Restore on iTunes. After many many errors (if it happens), use someone else's iCloud to sign in instead of yours then reset all settings in phone and insert all your relevant details in your iPhone. You may lose all your datas though.
