When I try to use Air Drop, the 1st thing that I noticed is that it doesn't see anybody. When I check Info, I see that it shows that it is Locked. Been rattling my brain how to unlock it or activate it. Any suggestions, all information will be greatly appreciated.

All the Macs must have Airdrop selected in Finder in order for it to work. However please carefully read the advice letter and see if you see anything in there that you may not be doing correctly.
Thanks, I did find that article and I read it extremely carefully. My actual problem is that AirDrop is showing up as "Locked" and I have been looking through every knick and knack to see how I can activate AirDrop but I have not found any literature that can assist me at this time. I have been transferring files the old fashion way, via e-mail but some times that is work-intense specially when seconds count. Again, thank you very much for your assistance and advise.
