Hello! I dropped my macbook pro on the floor and now the screen is flickering and half of it is black with weird lines. How much will it be to fix and how should I get it done?

I'm not sure what year yours is, but mine is a 2012, and I've already had the retina screen replaced once due to dead pixels at quote of $699.00 CDN. I managed to fight my way into getting it replaced for free, but now it's 2015 and I have about a thousand dead pixels in a cluster. Obviously this time I am looking at paying the actual amount this time. Not that I am made of money, but at that price, I might as well save up for an iMac.
Here is what I've been told, and this was for a 13" so I would imagine the prices have gone up a lot.

A quote can be obtained from an Apple store genius bar technician, so make an appointment. The repair will be a replacement. If you look at the iFixit.com and Powerbokkmedic.com web sites, you can get a rough gauge of the cost based on their prices.
