Does not synchronize contacts with iOs9

I installed iOs9 in 3 devices and no longer synchronizes contacts with iCloud as before, through Outlook 2013 ...

I think it must be iOs9 update since the iPhone 4, are still synchronizing contacts without problems.

If iCloud entered through the web, saying that all contacts created in Outlook if they appear.

The momentary solution I've found to update the contacts, is creating one in the device, and then if they are updated.

Thank you.

I'm also having contacts sync issues.

My only source of contacts is my Google Account and after the update to iOS 9, the sync is not working anymore.

I make changes on my contacts outside my phone and it doesn't get updated after.

The refresh button on the contact list used to work. Before, I pressed the refresh button and I saw the loading spinner doing its job.

Now, when I click it, nothing happens. =(

SSame problem here After upgrading to IOS9, before to refresh contacts go to contacts, then group then pull down the page it get refreshed, after upgrading to IOS 9 it's not working anymor, to refresh you have to switch off contacts, and remove all contacts from phone, then switch it on again so that the phone will download all contacts from "contacts.google.com" again, hope Apple solve contacts sync asap.

HI all,

just got it and solved for me, now my contacts are synced will with my google contacts, after the update just go to setting --> mail and contacts --> scroll down to contacts, and make sure that your correct contacts account is the default account.

for me, I have two mobiles an iPhone and an android mobile, both of them are connected to google contacts, whenever I add / delete a contact from the iPhone it get immediate update, but if I add a contact from my android phone it won't updated unless I add / delete a contact from my iPhone.

I commented.

I reinstalled as iOs9 factory on an iPad Air, still do not work synchronizing with Outlook 2010 contacts on devices with iOs9 I have updated to 9.0.1.

I do not know what to do.

Also if I try to synchronize from contact with this button it does nothing.

And as I say in the iPhone 4, they are automatically updated almost immediately.

Thanks again for your feedback

I have had the same problem. I even moved my contacts from Windows Outlook 2007 to iCloud in the hope that this would fix it (I wish I had not). Now the format of the contacts is different. I also had trouble exporting vcards out of iCloud (it appears you have to use Safari to do this). I am still using iCloud for contacts but this crashes a lot on Chrome. I have just tried deleting contacts from my iCloud sync on my iphone - and they all went! I then rebooted my phone and could only get them back by signing out of icloud rebooting and signing back in. They are now up to date. If I then make a change on my iphone it changes in iCloud. If I make a change in iCloud it is not updated in iPhone. The spinner in contacts is gone (which was how you synchronize the two before).

So a call to Apple support revealed that your phone needs to be either on the mains or 80% charged for it to sync. It also needs to be on persistent wifi and the screen should be in sleep mode. Having done this the contacts are syncing again!
