powers off, no sleep. sound muted on start up

I set my computer to go to sleep, but it takes like 5 pushes of the power button to turn it on. Starts up to lock screen (set to no password required after sleep) its a full boot, so its not in sleep mode.

Also every time I start my computer, the sound is muted and I have to manually unmute it

everything is up to date. iMac 27" 5k, windows 10, boot camp 6.0

iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, Late 2014), Other OS, null

found some errors in event log when i restarted my comp after it automatically went to sleep

The previous system shutdown at 7:00:11 PM on 9/18/2015 was unexpected. Source EventLog

The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power unexpectedly. Source Kernel - Power

The driver \Driver\WudfRd failed to load for the device ACPI\ACPI0008\4&22bfcd45&0. Source Kernel -PnP

it appears the problem is not shutting down properly into sleep on an automatic timer, and somehow just shuts the computer off, or crashes
