Q: Time Machine (tmutil) Restore problems

I had /Users as a seperate disk on my mac pro.  It died recently, so I'm in the process of trying to restore from my time machine disk.

The following works:  Sort of.

tmutil restore /Volumes/Tardis/Backups.backupdb/Lothlorien/2015-09-12-001849/Users/sherwood /Volumes/NewUserDisk

It will proceed happily for a while then fail with something like:

tmutil restore /Volumes/Tardis/Backups.backupdb/Lothlorien/2015-09-12-001849/Users/sherwood /Volumes/User_Raid/sherwood

Error (-8089) (SrcErr:NO) Copying '/Volumes/Tardis/Backups.backupdb/Lothlorien/2015-09-12-001849/Users/sherwood/F arm/Business_2011/SeedlingSales.xls' to '/Volumes/User_Raid/sherwood/Farm/Business_2011'

bash-3.2# tmutil restore /Volumes/Tardis/Backups.backupdb/Lothlorien/2015-09-12-001849/Users/sherwood /Volumes/User_Raid/sherwood

Is there a flag to tmutil to tell it to give me a single list of failed copies at the end, instead of having to restart it each time.    I have close to 2 terabytes of files, I don't really want to restart tmutil every 100 gig or so.
