Q: ios 9 Calendar not syncing with google apps for business (exchange)

I upgraded my iPhone 5 and iPad 4 to iOS 9 and discovered that the native calendar app is no longer syncing calendar entries, up or down, to google apps for business (account properly configured as Exchange).  It has been working on iOS 8.  My Mac running Yosemite syncs properly to google. Email from that account also syncs properly to the native Mail app on both iOS devices.

As an additional test, I installed Google's Calendar app on the iPhone.  Syncing between it and the google apps for business account DOES work correctly, which leads me to believe that the account is set up correctly.

Any thoughts?  It seems that the calendar app is not behaving itself.

OH - One amendment.  I have several accounts configured on the iOS device, including a normal (non apps-for-business) google email/calendar.  They have all been configured in mail and calendar, and continue to operate properly.

iPhone 5, iOS 9, null

Having similar issues. Nothing I update on either Mac side or iPhone side gets sent to the other, and overall some events just disappear completely. REALLY bad. I'm going to just stick to using iPhone for now so hopefully it doesn't get confused anymore and overwrite things? Really really bad, as I have multiple business calendars.

NOT FIXED!!!  This only syncs current events.  Requires continual refresh to sync.

I am having a slightly different issue, if I create or change an event entry on my Mac it updates my iPhone and iPad. However, if I create or edit an event on either IOS 9 device it does not update to anything else.

On the Mac if I delete an alert for a calendar entry, the deletion never makes it to the IOS 9 devices.

I just updated my iPad and Mac to the latest updates. The problem has gone away on *both* the IOS devices, even though I only updated one of them. This indicates to me that it must of been a calendar issue on the Mac.

The upgrade to iOS 9.1 has fixed the problem.  So, no matter what Apple Support told me after 3 hours on phone, it was an Apple problem.

I am running iOS 9.1 and am still experiencing no syncing in either direction.  Any other insight to this issue?  I am going bananas with a mobile calendar that isn't updated...  :-(

I'm having a iPhone 6 running IOS 9.2. My Google calendar is my main calendar. However, when entering an event into the Apple calendar, it did now show on my Gmail calendar. But it worked the other way. The problem was that my iPhone had several calendars including iCloud that I did not set up. By selecting my account: xyzabc@gmail.com ONLY, the iPhone calendar and the Google calendar syncs both way. Be aware that the sync sometimes takes place immediately, sometimes needs a minute or two. So don't get too impatient while testing this out.

Why use the Apple calendar at all when you can download the Gmail app? I think that the Apple calendar gives you a better overview as you can see the whole month, which is not possible in  Gmail app on the phone.

I have exactly the same problem with my iphone when synchronizing with CalDav calendars on my Synology NAS.

My ipad and other android phones synchronize well with these calendars but my iphone does not.

Both iphone and ipad are running IOS 9.2.

I have entered and checked the same settings on my iphone as configured on my ipad and they are both the same.

Who knows what could be reason of no synchronization on iphone?
