Check for Upgrade Error iOS 9 on iPod Touch 5th Generation

Hi,

I am having problems upgrading my 5th Generation 32GB iPod Touch to iOS 9. When I go into Settings -> General -> Update, it tries to check for the update, but just displays the error, "Unable to Check for Update - An error occurred while checking for a software update." This has never happened before with any other update, so I'm not sure why it is now.

So far, I have tried turning my iPod off and back on, retrying to check for the update, and resetting the settings on the device (not all content).

Please help. I upgraded my iPad Mini this morning without a single issue.
