I have a 5th gen iPod Touch. I recently updated the software to the latest iOS 9.
The "Tips" apps highlights one of the new features that allows the user to scrub through photos in the "Photos" app.... except the feature isn't there, there is no scrubber bar in the Photos app.
I assume this is yet another feature that has been stripped out & saved for the newer products. Just like the track pad gesture.

I do not get the thumbnails "scrubber" shown in that image.
I agree NO SCRUBBER bar in PHOTOS app on 4S either. Any one out there have any suggestions?????
Apple for sure took out that feature because the iPod touch 5g is too old. Same for the iPhone 4s. It's a hardware limitation. I had a 5g, but moved to the 6g, and the 6g has that photo scrubber.
Many thanks Mario I thought they had done that on the older phones but many thanks for the confirmation! Now I guess I'll have to finally break down and get the 6S if I want to utilities all the features of IOS 9.0.

I have the brand new iPad mini 4 and iOS 9.0.2 and I don't have the scrubber either.
