    FCP X has a built in Stabiliser.

     

    Select a clip in the Timeline.

    Open Inspector>Video Tab and select Stabilisation:

    You have to wait, you will see this in the Viewer:

    Progress can be seen in the Background Tasks field:

    Once analysed the grayed out controls will become active and allow you to adjust as required.
