Hi everyone
After upgrading to iOS9 on iPhone 5S, I can perfectly use Siri with the new features like "Hey Siri", but I can't hear Siri's voice although I've checked on Settings app that all appears to be right.
I don't know if it's a bug or any misconfiguration.

With this procedure I have solved the problem:
Impostazioni> Generali> Accessibilità> Voce ed abilita "Pronuncia selezione". Spunterà "Voci": apri questa opzione, seleziona "Italiano" e poi seleziona "Alice (default)". Una volta fatto ciò, in alto a destra premi "Modifica" ed elimina la voce "Alice (avanzata). Fai fine e questa volta seleziona "Alice (avanzata", che verrà scaricata (103MB, quindi ci metterà poco). A processo concluso, su Impostazioni> Generali> Accessibilità> Voce puoi disabilitare "Pronuncia selezione" se non ti serve e prova Siri

i'm facing this problem in iPhone 6 plus
I Had to reset Siri to English, us English to get it to say anything. No other voices work for me
US English isn't working for me. I changed the settlings to British English and it work!
same with me i changed the voice to
british and australian they both work
could be why 9.0.1 is out now haha

Hi I translated this on my phone. I'm having similar issues iPhone 6S+ IOS 9.0.2 but only with the female Siri UK voice. This seems to be on the right track translated from @robylor post in Italian above. Verified as SOLVED my issue!!!!!
Settings>general>accessibility>Voice and enable "speak selection". «Day»: open this option, select "Italian" and then select "(default)". Once that is done, in the upper right hand corner press "Edit" and delete the entry "Alice (Advanced).
