Q: how can I use an ios 7 backup on an ios 9 device?

I've been having trouble using my ios 7 backup on my ios9 device. If I trying restoring from this backup, my device keeps getting the infamous "slide to upgrade" problem. Any way to fix this? Thanks in advance for the reply.

Try this fix from Apple: If the Slide to Upgrade screen won't go away after you update to iOS 9 - Apple Support

HI JimHdk,
thanks for the reply. I already followed that guide from apple but did not work. After restoring from the ios 7 backup, I ended up at the same "slide to upgrade" Screen. I then need to boot my device to dfu mode and reinstall ios9 to make it to work again. is there any other workaround for this?
