Q: iPhone iOS 9 Calendar problem

Yeah  I've been using that 3 lines button to scroll through daily events but it's quite annoying from a monthly view not being able to tap a desired date and look at events for that day.

before iOS 9 that was a standard thing I did every day and now that doesn't work, I could tap a date 10 times then there's a delay and then it loads up

if you navigate to touch accommodations through accessibility in settings and turn those on followed by use initial touch location it allows single touch selection.

Before posting I tried various settings in touch accommodations - none fix the issue at all.

from the sounds of it a lot of people are having issues with calendar they never had prior to update.

same here! very quick press on date buttons work fine, normal press doesn't work

Do you have an older model phone? I don't have your problems with the iPhone 6.

I had the same problem.  I just updated the iPhone 5s with the latest update 9.0.1 and now my Calendar is working with a single tap and I do not have to double tap to open a day with month view.

Not sure if it will work for others, but worth a try.

I am having the same issue and after reading these posts I doubled tapped and then single tapped quickly and they both work.  However, it works better with my index finger than it does with my thumb.  So a single tap with my index finger works.  I guess Apple must have increased the level of sensitivity required to get a response.

This helped a great deal! It is indeed a change. Double-tapping now works whereas it used to be a single tap. iPhone 6

I was going to say the quick taping did not work, but that does the trick.  You have to tap it like you just drank 10 cups of coffee.  Kinda of annoying since nothing else in IOS requires such quick movement.

UUpdating to 9.0.1 solved my problem

Same Issue Apple blew me off too.  the double fast tap seems to work THANK YOU!  Also another issue is the Spotlight search does NOT search Contacts.

Ok thought i responded back on this... like others have said, have fount a normal push does not work, but a fast tap , or a normal double click will work 100% of the time

Also another side note... the new 3d touch press on a date does also work... so only thing not working is a normal press.
