Q: iPAD 2 stuck in slide to upgrade loop

iPAD 2 stuck in slide to upgrade loop-have tried hard reset numerous times, nothing...

tried doing the iTunes update numerous times-nothing...

tried doing the iTunes restore-noting...

still on continuous loop..HELP

trying to fix this for almost 24 hours...

iPad 2, iOS 9

    I have same problem with my iPad Air.  The pop up message states "Update Completed, your iPad was updated successfully.  there are just few more steps to follow, and then you are done!" I press "continue" and it got stuck in the loop.  I have tried to hold down the sleep and home button to reboot... no help..keep holding in hope of seeing recovery mode...nothing...just a blacl screen.  Trying to shut down...can't even turn off the unit.
