Sep 19, 2015 2:27 PM in response to AliceGuerra16by FelipeV,So what did they say? As your iPhone is long out of warranty (assuming that it is) you will probably get neither. Did you try this:
If the Slide to Upgrade screen won't go away after you update to iOS 9 - Apple Support

Sep 19, 2015 2:51 PM in response to FelipeVby AliceGuerra16,no it isn't! my iphone is still on warranty, thats why i was asking if there's any possibility of getting the money back! and yes i did that, but i couldnt restore my iphone because i had to disable the "finding my iphone" to do that so i did it on the icloud through the pc and even then i couldnt restore my iphone! but i did that thing that we press the home button and then we plug the charger and it shows up the itunes logo and then it asked me to restore and update with the ios9, and i did it. After that my phone was still in the same state so i dont know what will happen

And neither do we. We have no idea if your problem is due to a manufacturing defect. If the Genius at the Apple Store determines that the malfunction is covered by the warranty you will get a replacement unit. You will not get your money back.

No. Like a refurbished iPhone 4S. Apple has to provide you with a WORKING unit (refurbished or new). As the iPhone 4S is over 4 years old, you will most likely get a refurbished phone.

Sep 19, 2015 3:05 PM in response to AliceGuerra16by FelipeV,Oh. And you still have not answered the question which has been asked twice on this thread:
"What did the tech at the store tell you"?
If it was truly an Apple Store you would have probably gotten an answer without having to leave the phone at the shop. So what store was it?

Sep 19, 2015 3:05 PM in response to FelipeVby AliceGuerra16,a friend of mine got her money back because they couldnt fix her iphone, the home button didnt work

Sep 19, 2015 3:08 PM in response to AliceGuerra16by FelipeV,Not at an Apple Store. Unless your friend was within the 14 day return policy. They would have replaced the unit. So for the THIRD TIME:
"What shop was it? "
The less vague you are the easier it will be to answer your questions.

Sep 19, 2015 3:12 PM in response to AliceGuerra16by gail from maine,Well, then there is nothing we can ever speculate on about what will or will not happen. You would need to put that question to Vodafone....
