Mac OS 10.4 and Appleworks Files

My dad has a rather old iMac running 10.4. All his files are in Appleworks. Any chance of getting him into current hardware and saving his legacy files and transferring them to current software such as Pages and Numbers? His printer died and I can't find anything that supports OS 10.4. He is 93 so I was hoping to keep this as simple and cheap as possible for him. He has all his old tax information as well as uses it to track his investments. Thanks.
