iPod Mini: Playlists not downloading

I had to deauthorize my old computer and authorize my new one...no big deal. The issue is only my purchased music appears...none of my playlists download from the PC to my Mini eventhough they exist in iTunes.

Any suggestions?

When you plug in your iPod, go to the iPod's music settings (at the top of the iPod screen, assuming you have iTunes 7).

What are the settings? Make sure it is set to Automatically Update All Songs, or set it to Automatically Update only Checked Playlists (then check the correct playlists).

If that doesn't help, Restore the iPod.

Post back with results and I hope this helps!

Thanks for the help! Yes, I'm running iTunes 7. I clicked on the "Michele's ipod" under "Devices" and then clicked on the "Music" tab. The default must have been 'Sync only selected playlists' (and purchased was the only one checked) so I clicked on the radio button to sync all songs and playlists and that did the trick. Hooray! Not only do I have my playlists, I have my music from CD's as well...

This was really helpful. The only thing I wasn't doing was clicking the "Apply" button at the bottom of the page! My problem was that new music I had purchased wasn't loading onto my iPod on the new computer that I had bought. It synced with my newly designated "authorized computer" but wiped out all old cd's i had loaded on it myself. All of my purchased music was there though.

So now I just have to put all of my cd's onto the new computer.

I am having a problem with my iPod mini. My iPod has the capacity to hold up to 6GB of music. However, now, when I try to sync my iPod and update it with new songs I get the prompt "The iPod "Rebecca's iPod" cannot be snyced because there is not enough free space to hold all of the items in the iTunes library." I don't understand what I can do to make all my songs fit because according to the library, I only have 576 songs which totals to 2.71 GB of memory. Why is this prompt proclaiming that I don't have enough memory?
