Q: Stuck on 'Slide to Upgrade'  Disable 'Find my iPad'

I have tried the 'Restore a previous back-up solution through iTunes' that has been posted by Apple. However, after I click on 'Restore' a message to disable 'Find my iPad' keeps appearing and the 'Restore will not proceed. I have gone into iCloud.com and disabled it, but the message keeps appearing in iTunes when I try to restore to a previous backup.

If you have a backup you could try using the DFU mode, which wipes it.

 

Connect the USB cable to the computer running iTunes but NOT to the iPad.

 

TUrn the iPad off, and then press and hold the Home button.  While holding the button connect the USB cable yo the iPad and continue holding the button until the Connect to iTunes message comes up.

 

Release the button and it will say it is in recovery mode.  Now you can setup as new.  Then restore your backup.
