Q: No option to edit primary address in Apple id!

Q: No option to edit primary address in Apple id!

Everywhere I have looked has said that to change my Primary Email Address, all I need to do is select edit and change the email. However, it gives me NO option to edit that section of my Apple id. Am I missing something?

MacBook Air, OS X Yosemite (10.10.5)

Try here: https://appleid.apple.com/account/manage
Read also here: Change your Apple ID - Apple Support
Remember do not create a new Apple ID since all content cannot be merged or transferred to another Apple ID.

I appreciate the quick response, however I mentioned that I cannot edit the primary email on my apple id. Which is #4 on your apple support link "Select Edit next to Apple ID and Primary Email Address" which I have already referenced, and I already know how to get to applied.apple.com/account/manage, that is where I mentioned that it does not give me an option to "edit" my primary email address, the button literally isn't there. All I can edit is my name and my alternate email's, thats it, it gives me no option to edit my primary email address.

I have the Edit in blue next to the field when I visit the site. So I'm not sure why you are not seeing it.
