IOS 9 issues on iPhone 5
I thought IOS 9 would be what Apple promised to be optimization for older devices. Still use my iPhone 5 because it stills works great and don't really need any of the new features of newer iPhones. So I'll list down a few of the problems I noticed.
1. Noticable slow down in performance. Apps take a bit longer to launch. There's a delay between tapping the app and the app opening. So Apple's promise of optimized performance is none existent.
2. Multitasking problem. There is quite a slow down in animation when scrolling through opened apps. It may also cause some Apps to freeze/crash when you change from one app to another.
3. Screen Rotation. You can't manually rotate the screen when you have Screen Rotation locked. It used to be possible to rotate the screen manually even if auto rotate is locked. It can be a hassle when you're switching from a horizontally oriented app to a vertical one because you have to unlock auto rotate first before re-orienting your screen.
The only good thing that has come out of this update is the improved wifi performance. That's it. The rest is pretty much trash.
